Cathe Friedrich is an ACE and Body Pump certified instructor. She has been teaching aerobics for 19 years. In 1988, she produced her first video, Step N Motion I.  With the success of her videos, Cathe became well known in the video exercise world as the creator of the “Power Stepping,” fitness trend.

Cathe is a pioneer of the home exercise video industry. Her videos are geared towards advanced fitness enthusiast and she is a mentor to aerobic instructors worldwide. Cathe is continually praised for her unique style, choreography and her dynamic power moves and is noted as one of the best video aerobic instructors to date.

Low Impact Step - This 40 minute, beginner to intermediate, low impact step routine is fun and easy to follow. This DVD should be your next purchase from us after you have mastered Cathe's Basic Step + Body Fusion DVD. You'll burn fat, calories, and shape your buns and thighs while doing intense low impact step choreography mixed with challenging low impact blasts.

For best results, it is recommended that you do the workout three times per week as well as watch the routine first to become more familiar with the choreography. The workout is performed on a 6 inch platform, but any step height lower than 6 inches is fine as long as your heart rate remains in its training zone for the duration of the workout.

Total Body Sculpting - This 30 minute, beginner to intermediate workout, shapes and tones your muscles while burning fat and calories. The workout features a stability ball and 3 pound hand weights. Be sure to increase your weight selection when the exercises become too easy. For best results, it is recommended that you do this total body workout two times per week. This DVD contains three premixes (Cardio and Weight Circuit, Solid Sculpting, and Lower Body Cardio Blast) that transform the intensity of these workouts into an intermediate/advanced DVD.

High Step Circuit Video

With Cathe Friedrich. Includes Cathe's High Step Circuit Workout - Beginner/Intermediate and a 10 min. Stability Ball Abs routine. This 50 to 60 minute fitness conditioning circuit will burn fat and shape and tone your body from head to toe. Upon completing the warm up, you will go into 6 fitness cycles. Each fitness cycle consists of the following: 1- A one fun and easy step aerobic combination (that repeats itself 4 times) totaling one minute.  2 - A leg exercise on the high step.  3 - A compound exercise that consists of legs and upper body using 3 pound hand weights.  4 - An upper body exercise using resistance tubing (working the same body part that was used with the weights just before it).  5 - A core exercise. A stretch completes this workout.

This DVD contains three muscle conditioning workouts, including Cathe's Power Hour, Maximum Intensity Strength and Body Max (Body Max contains both Cardio and weight training). As with all of Cathe's DVDs, you can easily program your DVD player to choose only the sections of each workout that you want to do. You can even mix one section from one workout with another.
